H&M is so close to my comfort
12:40 AM But I gotta love it. Literally the H&M that just opened on Fifth Avenue at 42nd St is less than a block from my school. The tempation not to spend every penny (I do mean penny) is hard. I have become accustomed to walk alternative routes to bypass certain stores on my way to Penn Station. So let me add this up from 43rd St. to 33rd St. there is approximately 3 H&M stores. I feel my wallet getting light already.
The visuals in front of the store is pretty awesome (look at the top of the pic above) I don't know how they did it but it surely is dynamic. The theme of the display is very urban hippie; neon colors, cropped motorcycle jackets, scraves and legging, you know? the trendy look that H&M is expert at getting.
Talking about H&M I can not forget the venture that is next for this Swedish base store which is starting on November 8 the Roberto Cavalli at H&M collection will be launched in approximately 200 stores worldwide. Roberto Cavalli is known for his vivacious and sexy prints and embellishments, however as of late with his own line it has been toned down a bit. So I hope with this collection it will be vibrant with at touch of tranquility. The campaign for this collection is soon to be launched this month and was shot by photographer Terry Richardson in Florence, Italy. The models or as I say "totally cool people" are Julie Restoin Roitfeld, Sean Lennon, Lydia Hearst, Anouck Lepere, Jessica Stam, Erin Wasson and a few more. When the collection
hit stores I will definitely try to report back.
