I woke up this morning just in time for Ann Curry to talk about the too-skinny models in the fashion industry with model Ali Michael and Teen Vogue's EIC Amy Astley. What shock me the most was Ali confession of not having her period for a year. I understand like Ali who is turning 18 tomorrow and other models the same age her and younger are going through this as well. When does this wearing down a 16 year old body for the sake of a runway show considered fabulous? It seems many of this models don't have the positive and informative figure in their lives to let them know that  it's not normal to have chunks of hair falling out and not having a period is normal. I am glad that Ali Michael talked about this issue this morning it's scary but it's the truth.
