John Crocco, the Creative Director for Perry Ellis Menswear knows in these crazy times mixing it up is essential. For the Fall 2009 there were a mix of old and new looks for Perry Ellis. John went back to the history of Perry Ellis and modernized it for today. There were blazers paired with dark rinse jeans, buttons down shirts with chunky knitted cardigan. Also there were plaid pants, a litttle homage to the infamous time in the history of Perry Ellis when grunge was introduced by Marc Jacobs. My favorite was this pleather jacket (pictured with John Crocco), it's functional and economical.
