It's the start of the award season and the Golden Globe Awards kicked off last night. It was all about the ladies from the female hosts  of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to Jodie Foster delivering a very comical and yet an emotional speech. But before all of that commenced, the red carpet had some glamorous gown for sure.

Jennifer Lopez kept it tight and curvy in a Zuhair Murad nude with white lace gown. Major Kudos goes to Tom Ford for designing a custom made dress for Julianne Moore, everyone on Twitter loved it. Kerry Washington dazzled in a sheer with sparkly embroidery details. Claire Danes, after giving birth recently stilled looked fabulous in a vibrant red Versace dress. Kate Hudson was all smiles in a black with gold detail Alexander McQueen gown. Last but not least, Thandie Newton keep it girly in a short Giles dress.
