I attended the Carlo Pazolini Store Opening in the meatpacking district, hosted by Avril Graham, Harper's Bazaar Executive Fashion & Beauty Editor. Many years, (well, not that many) I interned for Harper's Bazaar in the accessories closet and it was great to chat with Avril about what it takes to work in the fashion closet at a high-end magazine. Besides all of the interning chatter, we discussed her love the Carlo Pazolini's riding boots which is a perfect transition item come Fall. I'm still not mentally prepared for Fall, but who really is?!... Carlo Pazolini had many great options.

 ... oh, all of you out there considering interning for a magazine, just know it's long hours and hard work.
