You might remember I attended the Laura Vela Spring '14 presentation during NYFW. "There's always a something special in each bag." as told to me by Laura when she walked me around her showroom. Laura Vela realized early in her career that she was more interested in the details. As a handbag designer, she starts with the inside of the bag and then she proceeds to design outward. Besides the details, Laura constantly travels around the world sourcing fabric and gaining inspiration to create a collection of handbags that's has an element of unexpectedness.
