This Polar Vortex has everyone scrambling for cold weather accessories which is rightfully so. For my own scrambling I came across Spratters & Jayne, a handcrafted knitwear brand. Spratters & Jayne works with 36 artisans in India that knits and crochets scarves, snood, gloves and berets. The major benefits of Spratters & Jayne working with these artisans is that are they are brilliantly gaining financial and social independence in their communities. I love the idea of keeping warm, but knowing that a scarf can go a long way.
