It was disheartening to hear right off the heels of the 10th Anniversary of the Rachel Roy Collection, the parent company The Jones Group will stop production dead in its tracks. That means the collection that designer Rachel Roy designed for Fall '14 will not hit the sales floor of the many retailers that usually carries the brand, which includes Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s and Saks Fifth Avenue. Hopefully all goes well for the brand, as designer Rachel Roy told WWD that she plans to finance the collection herself.
