Cinemoi North America recently relaunched on Verizon FiOS and to celebrate the relaunch they held a upfront event in NYC. Cinémoi North America is a 24-hour network on Verizon FiOS featuring curated films from around the world and high couture festivals, hosted their inaugural Upfront event at celebrity hotspot, Michael’s Restaurant. This event brought together local tastemakers and fashion influencers for a remarkable evening, which included a special performance by Alex Boye. Those that were in attendance... Fashion Designer J. Mendel; Philanthropist and Activist Patricia Duff; and Award-winning hairstylist Andre Walker.
At the Upfront event I learned that Cin̩moi has created a slate of original programming from selected domestic and international films. Cin̩moi also will be going behind the scenes of major global film festivals including Berlin, Cannes, London, Toronto, and Venice and Fashion Weeks in London, Milan and New York. Cin̩moi North America will also be bringing to the network exclusive U.S. coverage of the 2014 Cannes Film Festival Closing Ceremony for the first time to its viewers. This coverage will include; 60 Minute Show Featuring the Entire Award Ceremony and Pre-Show. Additionally, the network will continue to feature exclusive award-winning films Рweekly on Wednesdays, from film festivals in partnership with Film Festival Flix, a destination for the independent film community, as well as interviews with the talent behind those movies, and exclusive red carpet moments.
